I recently bought a Scarlett 2i2 interface to us to do simple recordings at home. I'm using that interface with Reaper recording software and have a digital keyboard, guitars, bass, mics...
I want to be able to use the good desktop speakers I have in lieu of monitors. I have the interface going into USB, audio preferences in Reaper set (i think), and the (1/8") cable to the speakers from the computer. A- While the interface itself lights up showing a signal, Reaper apparently isn't getting it and no sound is coming out. I can't hear the piano or anyhting.
I realize my level of noobitude here, and I'm ok with that... I just need to get my shit working so I can record and stuff.
