What's most important DAW, mics, interface?

Hey I'm a musician and have a home studio. At the moment my recording equipment is as follows :

Behringer c-2 pencil condenser mics ( ×4 ) Behringer euphoria umc404hd GarageBand

I am just about to start college doing sound engineering so over the next few years I will be aiming to try and upgrade everything to a professional standard. I was wondering what I should prioritize first in upgrading and what matters the least. Also if anyone has any suggestions for good interfaces or DAWs would love to hear them.
