Advice on Yard Flooding
Post Body

Hi all, not sure if this is the correct place to post a question about this but I am at a loss.

My house is an old house and on a pier and beam foundation. Basically, sitting on cinder blocks. Anytime it rains now the yard easily floods and stays really soft causing my house to slowly sink. I had it leveled a few years ago and it’s back to being unleveled again.

I included an Imgur album with three pictures of one side of the house. There was grass in picture 3 a couple of years ago and it’s gone now.

Would a French drain be the answer to this side of the house? Building up on either side and the drain in the center going to the ditch out front?

Any help would be appreciated or any help pointing me in the right direction. I’ve spoken with a few different landscaping companies around here and no one wants the job.
