My siding looks pretty trashy. Its not necessarily bad or anything, I just don't like the color and it needs repaired. I just had a brand new red roof installed last week and it looks amazing. Which means I now hate the siding more. It's just that generic...kinda egg yellow...looking thing. So I've been thinking ill replace it. Well ever since I was a kid black houses looked so cool and beautiful to me. So screw it. My house right? Black siding( don't know what kind) maybe some brick siding along the bottom to add earthy color, and a nice new red roof! Here's the main issue. I dont know how long we will be here. Maybe 2 years. Maybe 20, no clue. Selling point kind of scares me. Obviously it'll be a little hotter, and of course how long will it last realistically? Is this something that puts people off? Will I never be able to sell? If you where looking at a home with a new roof, new hvac, new siding would this color kill the deal?
