Neighbour's refusal to clean up after dog and threats
Post Body

Hello, wondering if I could some advice. I recently moved into a home with a shared lawn (legally I own a portion of it). I have two young girls and my fiance, and I am away from the house for long periods for work.

The house I share the lawn with has three to four brothers living there, only one works part time, and I'm having some issues.
One of them owns a large dog, who uses my side of the lawn and my garden as a toilet, the owner refuses to clean up after him, and has a habit of blasting ghetto rap music from his car loud enough to rattle windows.

I mean friday night late, mid day saturday and sunday "N* this, Fuck a bitch that" blaring through the neighbourhood while kids are walking around.

No one in the neighbourhood seems to be willing to deal with him, since he has a house full of unemployed family, plus they all look a little "hood", gold teeth, pants hanging down etc, cars of every shade and stripe coming and going for 5-10 minutes at a time.

I have spoken to him about it to no avail, other than him swearing at me. Then when it was brought up again, he threatened me and mentioned people getting killed over things like that.

My fiance is scared that any other confrontation will put her or the kids in danger, and I agree, so I have tried to ignore them, but literally the only thing left for the dog to do is poop on my front porch.

I have security cameras installed at her prompting, and actually have the dog off leash pooping on video, while the owner looks on and does nothing, but I'm unsure what are my next steps.
