So Iโm about to paint a room, and I was removing the sockets and one of the sockets had excess paint from before. So I tried like breaking that extra paint with the screwdriver but it touched the socket and made a bunch of sparks and the screwdriver head kinda looks charred. The room behind me which is my brothers room lost electricity completely, but everything else in the apartment was fine.
What should I do? Do I replace anything? I know I can put it back on from that electrical box thing on the wall but I donโt want to put it back on if I have to do something before that.
