Is adding a mini split worth it?

So I live alone and I’ve found that my master bedroom is the furthest away from the AC unit. My room tends to get warmer faster and takes a little longer to cool down which makes it feel like the central AC is having to work extra for the whole house just to cool off my room in the deep summer times. Would it really be efficient to have a mini split unit just for my master bedroom since it’s so far away from the central AC unit?
