My home is less than 30 years old and in this one particular spot the wall is soft, if I wanted to I could probably stick my finger on it.
On the outside of the wall there is a corner on the outside of the house, at one time in this area on the wall there was a dry mud material that came out from the little pinholes...when I wiped it way it would come back, but last spring I discovered what appeared to be terminte tubes on the concrete foundation on the out of the house right on the opposite side of where the problem is... immediately I knocked them away and sprayed for termites heavily, that was a year ago and no dry mud tubes have be spotted on the drywall ...however, I still have to fix the issue where the wall is soft around where the pinholes are.
Can someone offer me some advice on where to start? I really don't know what I'm doing but I am going to have to fix this one on my own.
