Hey, we live in an area that gets a fair bit of rain in the winter (PNW). We bought some patio furniture and I’m wondering about we can prevent mold and mildew from forming. The patio is covered and generally even wind driven rain will not reach where I’d like to store the cushions.
Of course, the best route would be to bring the cushions inside but storage is always an issue. If I stored the cushions outdoors in a wood container (not sealed, ample airflow), would mold / mildew still form on the cushions from the occasional dampness in the air? Would a resin container (obviously still not sealed but a little more ‘weatherproof’) be a better idea?
Any input is appreciated.
