I have 2 fluorescent fixtures, one of which actually contains LED strips and not fluorescent bulbs, and one boob light connected to a single switch. The fluorescent lights flickered and went out the other day, and everything else on the switch went down. I saw that one of the fluorescent bulbs needed replacing, so I did the whole set, all 4 (couldn't find a color temperature match for the remaining bulbs). Unfortunately, that didn't fix the issue, both fluorescent fixtures and the boob light have no power. I've never changed a fluorescent bulb before, but I did read up and watch a couple videos before carefully making the attempt myself. I think I did a good job replacing the bulbs.
My questions are: if there's no power to the fluorescent fixture, will that prevent electricity from reaching the other lights? Is it wired in a series? Did I install v the bulbs incorrectly, and therefore prevent power from moving downstream? Is there some reason to think the wall switch is faulty?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
