So I was offered some advice from some people telling me to possibly hold off on a card game I have been creating. With how in depth it is, and everything involved they had offered that I probably try to get my feet wet with some a bit more easier to start. So now I have this!
I've been designing a card game based on robots (or mechs) fighting. The goal of the game is to destroy 5 of your opponents mech cards (robots) Each Mech does X amount of damage. You can also equip attachments to Mechs to deal extra damage or add special abilities. Anytime a Mech is destroyed it gets shuffled back into the opponents deck and the rest of the attached cards get sent to the scrap yard (discard pile)
I felt like a 4 card starting hand size and a 25 card deck would create an easy game (for young and old) but also increase the likelihood of playing everything in your deck. It also would mean a smaller set size but yet have enough versatility for decks.
This is just a rough draft, but thoughts for now?
