Hi everyone!

During the past two weeks this subreddit has experienced some major changes, the most noticeable one was implemented some minutes ago and it's the stylesheet for the subreddit. /u/simpsonsfanhere did that and we're grateful for it since we completely lacked a stylesheet before, the sheet may change in the future but this is what we're currently using.

We have also updated the sidebar (which was previously almost empty) to reflect a mission of the subreddit and some basic rules to make it function better.

We've gained a bunch of new moderators to help build this sub and drive traffic here, this is really exciting as they all wish to contribute in helping alleviate the homeless situation in some way and have teamed up here to try to make a change.

Traffic has increased greatly and we've just reached 500 subscribers, that's a hundred subscribers in two weeks as there were only 400 subscribers here two weeks ago, and this has been a community for 4 years. So the changes are having effect.

Anyway, I just wanted to give you some news about what is happening here and tell you that I'm really excited about the potential of this subreddit.

Edit2: /u/berlin-calling has made some nice flairs that everyone can use if they wish.

Edit3: /u/berlin-calling has also rewritten the sidebar which is a huge improvement, for people in the US especially notice the links under the welcome message in the sidebar.
