Hey! I’m a 22 year old female homeless since 19. I got kicked out at 19 from adoptive parents and went to a shelter, stupidly dated a guy who ruined my finances and my own place(my fault too but only in the sense of my dumb decisions of dating the wrong people)

For him I moved from Mass to Philly a year or two in, and finally…I would say I’ve been a. Month free from him.

During this time I also spent a year at job corps to finish my CMA and phlebotomy and basic first aid/CPR certifications (only to realize I don’t wanna do health care but I will always have a back up)

I have a friend right now (helps being young and attractive and a woman? I’m saying this with an eye roll to be honest) who’s helping me stay with HER (yes god bless it’s a her right) and it’s been a month (the same month I mentioned earlier where I left him recently) . If she ends up kicking me out I’m going to the local shelter near my job and just saving up since I already am saving money

So I started working, got my computer over here (paying off monthly from Best Buy, finally paid off and finally got it shipped from job corps over to my friends house). I have saved 500$ so far(I should get another check but they pay biweekly and I just started so the checks are slow right now)

But yeah I do part time, I am making new friends, and saving money. Once I can get my own apartment (through these low income places over here or the ~700 one bedroom apartments) I can start college in the fall for finance, minor in criminal justice or business, and continue working part time.

I have had rough days like usual, I end up calling the suicide hotline sometimes for help when half the time I end up more angry. And only been here a month, working orn friends and stuff.

Also I live a little outside of a big city so for my new apartment I wanna move closer to the big city as well. Tell me what’s going on with you guys
