Homelab as Resume/Portfolio
Post Body

Other than just using your Homelab as a test environment to break and learn things. Who here actually uses it as a portfolio for what they know to show to potential employers. Iโ€™m still in Highschool (16) and got my first job over the summer working for the IT director of my school. I got to do it with my friend and made really decent money ($15 an hour). And used some of that money to make my Homelab completely overkill for someone my age. I learned some basic web development and created a homepage for my homelab domain (broomfieldhomelab.net) and am thinking of sending it to my IT director to see if itโ€™s applicable to put on a resume for when I get a โ€˜realโ€™ job after I graduate. Does anyone else here use their lab as a showing point for their skills?
