Hi r/homelab I'm planning on changing my home lab up and instead of having pfsense and opnsense virtualized I would like to run a small form factor pc next to my modem and move all of my equipment into my server rack in my outbuilding as my office is getting really hot with my two NASes in there.

I was planning on buying a small SFF and running it on bare mental. My internet connection is 30 down and 7 up. However for future proofing I would like something capable of running 1gig down and like 50 up. I would like to maybe dab into IDS.
