There’s a gov auction near me for a group of 3 SUA1500RM2U UPSs plus a replacement battery that I could probably win for about $50.
Based on the serial #s though it looks like all these UPSs are at least 13 years old (the spare battery is 10 years old). Does it make any sense to go for these or should I look for something a bit newer? I get that I can replace that batteries with something new but is the hardware worth it for ~$50 a 2 hour round trip to pick it up?
I’ve been slowly building my lab and don’t mind waiting for better deals but if these are good I may jump on it
