Hey guys,

I thought I'd pose this question here instead of r/Networking because you guys will come up with a solution that is enjoyably over-engineered.

My job has me travel a lot and I live out of hotel rooms across the country. I am in any one hotel room anywhere from one week to six weeks at a time and I do not have a home base because my job is 100% travel and I don't have a home or apartment to have any sort of network set up to VPN into.

I am currently working on setting up a little traveling network for my hotel room to learn a little more about networking.

Weight is not necessarily an issue however compactness is ideal as this all needs to pack up into a travel trunk that will then travel via semi-truck to the next city.

Since I'm in hotels I need to be able to connect to hotel wifi some of which will have captive portals.

Ideally, I will be connecting my MacBook Pro, an SSF gaming pc I will be building, my cell phone, my Ipad, an Nvidia Sheild TV, a 4 drive NAS and a Sonos one.

I currently have a hosted seedbox that I am setting up to download torrents but I would like the NAS to act a local cache of select content from the seedbox so I'm not always streaming content allowing it to download through the day while I'm away. as well as act as a local backup for my different devices.

So gang, how would you set this up?
