HP Elite 600 G9 Mini Core i7 12700T / 1.4 GHZ vs Dell Power Edge R620 Xeon E5 2667v2 for Proxmox and cyber security training
Post Body

Good day,

I saw the above YouTube video which shows that I can build a decent low powered Proxmox server out of a Hp Elite 600 G6 Mini. I also noticed someone selling an R620 near me but I feel like those servers generate a ton of heat and I could spend lot of money powering it. The R620 is also very old now a days (DDR3 era ram). I was wondering if anyone can assist me and let me know if the HP Elite is the way to go for me, honestly I’ll just be running a few VMs and a tier 1 hyper visor or Windows/ Ubuntu Server. Input would be appreciated thanks.
