How much CPU/RAM resources (and reserved) should I dedicate to a 64Tb > 48 Tb 2vDev 8-Raidz2 TrueNAS 13 VM?
Post Body

So after a lot of prep, a few questions to r/homelab to ensure I optimize everything to the best of my ability, I'm ready to begin installing my TrueNAS 13.0-U3.1 VM.

Hardware context:
I intend to pass-through the H730P in HBA mode to the VM, containing 16x 4Tb drives. Those drives will be turned into a 48Tb pool consisting of 2 vDevs, each being an 8-Raidz2 with 2x redundancy, totaling 24Tb per vDev.

The VM is running in ESXi Enterprise 6.7U2 and the host hardware has approximately 350Gb of RAM and 32 threads (16 threads per socket).

Use-case:
I want to ensure I allocate a sufficient amount of CPU and Memory resources to the VM, as well as appropriate hardware reservation (I think I may just 100% reserve the memory regardless; so perhaps just CPU reservation in Ghz).
Considering I'll be using VMs in ESXi as well, and I'll be using a TrueNAS iSCSI to provide ESXi some of the storage, I do want to leave some memory and CPU usage for the ESXi host. That said, I will allocate anything needed, and given the hardware, I'd like to say "resource allocation is not an object" to most extents.

My question:
Given the amount of storage, what would be a good, performance-focused amount of CPU and Memory to provide to the VM? How much CPU reservation in Ghz should be provided?
Also do you have any recommendations as far as tuning my zpool? I'll be actively researching that in the meantime, but I figured I'd ask you guys while I'm at it.

Thanks for any and all help, and for everything you guys do!

EDIT:
Just to make an initial VM to edit later, I'll start with 16 threads (2 cores of 8 threads each), 8Ghz CPU reservation, and 64Gb of RAM with 100% reservation. I'll modify that after listening to the community before I get to installing TrueNAS.
