I have Simplisafe (SS) and decided to get a SS doorbell pro. I ordered it quickly before I found out that security doorbells were being stolen from doors. I decided that it was safer to use indoor cameras with motion detectors. Little did I know that IR motion detectors don’t work through glass. This makes them kinda useless for my needs

The motion sensing cameras outside is really important so I may have to take my chances with the doorbell. My question regarding the SS doorbell is are they being stolen like the ring doorbells? The SS ones are wired into your houses power with a security screw so some one can’t just slide it off. I’m assuming that makes it more difficult to steal.

I tried to google this and look it up on Reddit but did not find a thing. Has any heard anything regarding this matter?
