Beginner Help Request - Running Python Kasa in Homebridge on MacOS
Post Body

Hi All

Apologies for the rudimentary question. I am running homebridge on a spare mac mini that I have to pretty good results. But I continually have issues with the Homebridge Kasa Lightstrip plugin. I tried posting to Github but the response has make sure it can access Python.

So how do I actually tell homebridge to access python kasa?

I went into Mac terminal and installed python kasa using pip3 install python-kasa. I confirmed it can discover the devices by running the command kasa. But when I try to use the Kasa Lightstrip plugin, it cant discover devices. Would really appreciate any help as I am assuming this is just a lack of homebridge understanding on my part.
