I saw a video the other day where a guy had some nfc chips embedded in a 3d print that when scanned changed some led lights colors and started some music. I would love to do something similar. But I'm pretty new, with my most home automation being a single smart bulb and some smart plugs hooked up to Alexa.
What are some affordable led strips I could install on my book shelf, display cabinet and behind my monitors that I could control via automation. Also what app would be best to read/run the nfc chips?
Edit: I have looked at a few strips, but im not sure which would look cleanest in an Ikea bookshelf without having to have multiple strips for each "box". I'm worried about running 1 long strip and getting bad back lighting.
