Cheap RGB light bulb for a room with an API?

Looking into getting one of those fancy RGB tunable LED bulbs for a project. I just need one bulb (not a 4-pack, etc.) and the bulb needs to have an API, preferably over LAN. As cheap as possible (while not being utterly shit, I guess).
I've been looking at LIFX bulbs which seem to do everything I want, but are just a tad expensive (€65 for a bulb).
