Sorry if it's a stupid question, I'm still pretty novice to home automation.
We moved into a new house and I've been trying to kit it out. We have a Hue bridge for motion sensor, bulbs, remote and switches. Lumary ceiling lights due to size (no bridge required). Tapo smart plugs (no bridge). Eufy doorbell and cameras (Eufy homebase). Samsung smart TV, smart fridge (pointless), and looking to get a smart dishwasher next year. Google Nest protect smoke alarms (not installed yet).
I'm now looking to automate the curtains, but it appears I have to get yet another brand or even 2 due to different curtains around the house (Switchbot for rail powered by solar, ?Aqara for pull strings). However both Switchbot and Aqara will need their own bridges! Or maybe just find a brand that does all types of curtains, but that still mean I need another bridge.
Is it really the necessary evil to have multiple bridges? Is there a simple solution I'm missing?
Mainly use Amazon Echo, but also have Google Home hubs.
