Hello,

Neighborhood cats have taken to pissing in my bushes by my front door. They use it as a thoroughfare.

I'm a pet loving dude, but now when you walk up the path of my house and stand at the front door it reeks of stale cat piss.

My nest cam catches them prowling and doing their business.

Now, I have sprinklers setup with Rachio which is controllable via WiFi.

Now, I know nest suck - so maybe it's the weak point in this plan... I do have some unifi cameras, and I will be replacing the doorbell vam with unifi one day.

My plan, if possible:

Can I set the zone in the bushes to turn my bush zone for sprinklers on for 10 seconds should motion be detected?

The cats are the only things that are this off, and I'm sure they will get the message eventually....

I don't see why this wouldn't be possible... My doorbell cams alert me to motion, my sprinkler zone is able to be turned off via app on my phone so adding some sort of 'if this then that' function - should be easy? I hope..

If anyone can advise the best way to do this, I'd be greatly appreciated.

As I say, I love animals - but I draw the line at the appearance of my house smelling like stale cat piss 24/7 to any visitors I may have.
