Script gui editor exposing secret.yaml data. Is there a work around?

I'm trying to create a script that I can call from alexa to arm my alarm panel. But it won't let me use the !secret for the code in the gui. If i edit it or create a new script in the yaml file it works fine until i edit any script in the gui. It replaces the secret with the actual code! I have attempted to separate the script using the include_dir_merge_named but it doesn't work and looks like it been an issue for a while. Does anyone know of a work around besides not using the gui editor?
