I just got my home assistant set up on an Intel nuc S12 pro and I'll be attempting to integrate it into my house.
I have read I need a static IP but also just read that a dynamic is preferred? What's the best route for setting this up efficiently the first time.
I currently have T-Mobile 5G home Internet with a deco P9 mesh system bc it's an old lake house with cinder block walls. I have the sagecom router feeding the primary deco, both T-Mobile and deco mesh having their own WiFi(i now realize that's bad for signal congestion). I am building up my IOTs but for now it's mainly used for smart can lights, a few smart outlets, Alexa devices, 3 ring cameras, nest, tower fan and a couple air purifiers.
Do I need to purchase any hardware to make this easier? I do plan to have poe security cameras in the near future but for now it's just a few rings over wifi.
