Help developing on an idea - dog crate automation

Post Body

My dogs are on a crate and rotate schedule because they do not get along at all (I've tried all the training my money could afford and nothing worked) I am trying to find a way to open and close their crate doors remotely so that I can switch them around when I'm not home. My biggest issue is that I need something that will swing the door out and back in and either lock the existing locks or hold it locked that isn't reliant on a power source (so if the power goes out, I don't want both doors to unlock)
Has anyone accomplished anything like this and have any pointers?
