I’m trying to come up with a fun way to show the percentage of time that has passed while my wife is deployed. I’m envisioning a strip of LEDs, and whenever it starts up, calculates the rough percentage of time that has passed, and displays it as a green/red progress bar (i.e. The first day she is gone it’s all red, and the last day she is gone it is all green, and the days in between have a combination of the two). Since I don’t plan on having this strip on all of the time, I can’t make a script to change lights after a certain amount of time has passed (no need for them to be on for 6 months straight). I’m not sure how I would go about this; any hardware/automation suggestions or guides would be really helpful!
