Last night I was messing around with Portugal and unified with Brazil in 1937, I invaded Spain in 1940 just after Germany declared on the Benelux and won fairly quickly. I released and puppeted galicia, navara and catalonia as I mainly role play and like the idea of Portugal liberating oppressed minorities in iberia. Within a week of France capitulating, Germany declared on navara without any justifying or wargoal that I could see and reached my cores before I could mount any sort of defence. How did they do this? Is this just the AI cheating or is there something that gives Germany wargoals against spanish cores?
