I'm playing through my first full game and have some questions if anybody can lend pointers.
I'm playing as Argentina, took over Chile, Paraguay, Brazil. I'm in a situation where I need to be able to defend a large number of ports and a big land border with Peru, Colombia and Venezuela.
I've seen people make 1 and 2 unit cavalry stacks for suppression which I'll end up using. For borders, I'd like to find the minimum manpower needed to secure my ports.
My manpower is down to just a few hundred thousand in 1942, even with full conscription so I'm just not sure what moves to make next. I'm in the Comintern and we're fighting the Axis and the "French Alliance" which is just France and the US, so no allies or Japanese to worry about. My navy is non-existant but I've fully teched up on naval stuff, I just need more ports and more manpower.
I'm thinking I'll also need to reconfigure an assault division that can tackle jungle and mountains to break into Peru, who also has a large number of divisions. Would 40 width divisions do better in a straight rush assault?
