I have around 1,500 hours and only recently started playing multiplayer. My opponent is playing as the soviets, and so far the couple games we’ve played he’s gone for Turkey and Romania immediately in 1936 which strengthens his position by a lot. Every time I try to launch Sea Lion in 1939 or 1940, my navy gets decimated in a matter of weeks and I’m stuck fighting England still by the time I justify on the USSR. I hear it’s good to justify on the Netherlands or Poland as early as I can to get extra civs and resources, but not sure which strategy is the best. Any tips?
