We've had our male (1yr4mo old) hognose a little less than a month now. He's been pretty chill for the most part. Recently though when we try to interact with him or take him out to be fed, he hisses (enough to spit sometimes) and occasionally tries to strike. We've never fed him in his enclosure and we've never stressed him out or anything.
Another question: he was being fed pinkies by his previous owner twice a week and that's what we had been sticking with. We've read about a lot of other feeding schedules. What is the best feeding schedule for a hognose his age? Does his feeding have anything to do with his current disposition?
