Post Body

Hi! This is my new boy, Pickle. He’s about one year old. I’ve had him for about three weeks now and he still won’t eat for me. I have reached out to the breeder but I wanted to see if anyone else had any suggestions.

He is VERY spicy and often buried under his water bowl. I’ve tried to feed him three times:

  1. An attempt at tong feeding had him hissing and striking. He was incredibly stressed and I gave up.

  2. Put him and the mouse inside container and covered it so it was totally dark. Didn’t eat after several hours.

  3. Put mouse down in enclosure on top of a paper towel right at the entrance of the hide he was in. Nada after several hours.

He’s in a 20 gallon long, temps are good. I attached a pic - lots of hides and clutter.

What more can I do?
