Can the SA-11 launcher work without it's search radar in DCS?

I want to attack and destroy an SA-11 Battery but idk how the Buk works in DCS since each launcher has it's own radar they can act somewhat independently IRL but is that the case in DCS? Like can I disable the battery by just striking the search radar? Or do I actually have to hit each launcher as well?
