I am 17 and a senior in high school who is going to try out for my school's varsity club team. Since my school is relatively big there are 2 teams, federation(very good) and club(decent). I am extremely nervous that I am going to make a fool of myself in front of all my peers and not make the team. I am coming off of a 4 year break from the sport after my parents denied an invitation for me to play AAA at 13. Over the past 3 months I have been going to the rink at least 1-2 times a week to try and get into shape and re-learn my edges but im still not 100% confident in my skating. I am considering not even going to the tryouts, but I think it is in my best interest to go. It is tonight and tomorrow and I am absolutely petrified.
