Bauer Helmet/Cage Compatibility

Hey guys.

I have a Bauer 9900 (Large) model helmet and am looking for a cage to replace my visor since I'm getting into faster/more aggressive div leagues.

Last visit to my LHS I looked at pretty nice Bauer cage, I think it was a Re-akt cage. I noticed that it was only compatible with certain helmets, almost all of them except mine (the 9900). I was under the impression that all cages will fit a helmet as long as it's sized properly, but now I'm in doubt.

Which cages will fit my helmet? As long as they are Bauer will they fit? The 9900 cage is discontinued and hockeymonkey only has a XS left.
