We are all out here just to have fun. If you get beat, take it one the chin.
The amount of guys slashing, hooking, yanking, grabbing players down and injuring them is insane. Have a little humility and work harder next time if you donβt want to get blown past.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
Skated down on an icing one time, it was an obvious icing. Puck ended up an inch from the boards. I didn't expect someone to be skating full speed, uncontrolled, so I was just chilling.
Next thing I remember was waking up on my back, with both teams standing above me fighting each other.
Apparently a guy who didn't like me, decided to skate the full length of the ice, at full speed, and cross check me from behind, into the boards. Ended up with a concussion & it fucked up my shoulder for a while.
Some people are just pieces of shit.

Rink owners pretty much did nothing, so I went to USA Hockey and they contacted the rink, checked the cameras, and gave the guy a 5 year ban.
I didn't press charges, because I knew I'd get his ass back eventually. Unfortunately after his ban, he moved away, so he's someone else's problem
