There was a shortage of that material and it eventually led to the cancelation of 2020-21 Ice. The main focus of Premier would be the acetate RPAs. Ice has also dialed back the amount of all acetate cards they have which would sorta explain why it's still on track for a release.
There probably is a different reason why Premier is being held but that's the first reason I could think of. It is really weird that the Cup is coming out first.
I think they should be fine. The last couple of years UD does their releases in waves like this. It would line up with the end of the NHL season and the last bit of access for a bit to get on card autos in mass.
None of them are canceled at the moment. It's a release schedule up to the end of September.

The acetate issue from during Covid would be the first thing that comes to mind. Otherwise, I would expect it's harder to get the autos from the Cup since those are guys from all over signing moreso than Premier.
