Thought of something while watching the Rangers-Ducks. Arron Asham got into a fight with some Ducks player, and Asham received an extra 2 for taking off his own helmet (he also took off the helmet of the Ducks player prior to the fight), as is the correct call as of this season. But I'm not sure on the intricacies of this new rule, so I was wondering about a possible loophole:
Would it still be a two-minute penalty if a teammate took off the fighter's helmet? I'm not sure if anyone knows, but it seems like a way to circumvent the rules (until they add a new amendment).
