Which notebooks fit together with a Cousin Avec in the normal A5 covers?

So I finally got my Hobonichis! :) I got the Cousin Avec and I want to have one Avec and a chequered/dotted notebook for meeting notes/lab book brain dump stuff together in one cover. I would have gotten the official Hobonichi notebook but seeing as it's unavailable on Amazon right now (I'm in Germany) and is also quite expensive, I'm looking for alternatives.

I would like the notebook to be either chequered or dotted and with some fountain pen friendly paper. I was looking at Midori notebooks, but I am unsure as to whether they have one that fits together with a Cousin. Does anyone of you maybe have some ideas/experiences?
