Hellloooooo everyone. Long time lurker, first time caller. I have been on the Hobonichi train for many, many years and I had some questions for y’all. I have used the A5 and A6 journals over the last few years, sometimes the Avec in each size, other years the all-in-one.
I’ve found the A6 is too small for my tastes. I find that while the Cousin is the right size, daily pages in that size cause me to fall behind repeatedly on journaling. I switch between memory/collage journaling, drawing and writing all in the same notebook — I typically use the Weeks for planning.
My question: is there some type of hybrid out there where there might be an A5 with weekly or monthly layouts, but just 1-3 blank pages per week? Or a blank page section? The catch all from Aura Estelle comes to mind, but I don’t love the layout approach on it.
Any thoughts? I feel like Goldilocks but I know this journal has to exist?
