Best internet provider?

I live in the Kingborough area and have been with iiNet for the last 5 years. I get an email from them what feels like every second day about planned maintenance and the service is average at best.
For the past week the internet has been incredibly slow. Just wondering if it is worth switching to another provider. I pay $70 a month for this rubbish.
