Mutilation of Japanese corpses - ear collecting?
Author Summary

Post Body

I've read a lot around the practices of trophy collecting in the PTO during WWII, primarily around the practices of American servicemen to do so. However, I am intrigued to read about other soldiers doing the same. Were there any, and I'm counting tribal soldiers that were sometimes used by the Allies to collect intelligence/fight on their side, that severed off ears from the dead Japanese? I can't imagine that the Americans were sole participants in this and I do recall reading about it somewhere else, but I can't remember right now.

Any help?
