Post Body
Quite some time ago, I stumbled on a documentary (which I believe was on either the History or Discovery Channel) detailing weapons used in Southeast Asia by, I believe, the Vietnamese or Khmer/Cambodians. It included a look at a crossbow-like weapon using two bows on a trestle, which was fired from the backs of elephants. Try as I might, I cannot find any source material or evidence of this being a thing. I was wondering if anyone could tell me some more about this weapon, if it exists, and of similar weapons in history. That is, weapons making use of multiple bows or bowlimb pairs.
