I need to ask these questions from book readers because I think they weren't answered in the show. 1. What happened to magisterium and other authority's institutions after the war? Did they continue oppressing people? 2. How were Asriel and Coultron able to defeat Metatron I didnt understand function of the bomb thingy in the mouth of the abyss. 3. I know that Lyra's and Will's love was always there but they didn't actually show it until the halfway of the final episode. It felt rushed to me. Was this done better in books? 4. Did people celebrate victory over heaven anyway? I feel like there should have been somekind of epic party. :D
Thanks!
Edit. I don't mind book spoilers I have other book projects now and I know this series isn't going to make my list. I'm still enjoying the world of His Dark Materials. :)
Everything was done better in the books!
The show got the general story across, but it missed so much depth and so much heart.
I guarantee if you liked the show, you’ll love the books.
