So, obviously Kanye West's anti-sematic remarks and views are coming to light. But a lot of people might not understand that there is a long running issue with Antisemitism in hip-hop. From NWA to now Kanye West, this has been an issue since the beginning. Recently Westside Gunn has announced his upcoming Hitler has Hermes 10. A conclusion to an art project that focus on the imagery of Adolf Hitler while also landing in parody. But is this tone deaf in today's climate? Some of the artists that WG is working with on this album have ties to the Five-Percent Nation including WG himself. Is this just for the art or is there something underneath it all? Is it time to abandon this type of imagery if not for a little while, until this all cools down? What say you? What is your take on it?
