It’s been just over 24 hours since Sexyy Red dropped In Sexyy We Trust, executive produced by Tay Keith.
Sexyy Red is a polarizing figure on this subreddit, and the Drake feature will steal most of the attention, but this album is fun, doesn’t take itself seriously, and has a ton of replay value. I saw one commenter in the album thread say elder millennials who grew up with late 2000s Bricksquad shit have an obligation to defend Sexyy Red, and I agree entirely - people trashed OJ da Juiceman and Shawty Lo back in the day, but their music was great then and still is now. This album walks confidently in their footsteps.
That's exactly why I fw her tbh. The world is burning down right now - her songs are stupid, mindless and fun. Skeeyee to you
