I'm a guy who has been on the Hinge app for a few months. I'm lucky to live in a major city and so I have a steady stream of likes coming in, usually 5-10 per day. As a result I don't "like" girls first myself much, just go through the likes I currently have.
Today after rejecting a few girls in my queue in a row, a message popped up that said something along the lines of "like girls from your queue to help us determine who to show you in discover mode."
Has anyone ever experienced this same message? Does this actually mean that the Hinge algorithm will show you girls to "like" yourself initially that are similar to those you chose to match with? If so, that would truly be impressive...doubting the legitimacy of it though. Curious to hear what others know/have experienced.
Thanks!!
