27F here. Am bi but primarily getting likes from men. Many of them will simply “like a photo” (often the first) without commenting or responding to it, or a prompt, in any way. I understand we’re seeing lots of profiles but it feels very lazy to me and I’m inclined to X when I see it. However, then I end up Xing most of my matches. Do I lower this standard or hold out for people who actually want to engage with me??

Edit: want to clarify that my profile has things to respond to - I ask a question, mention passions, etc. Also want to clarify that I was mainly looking for feedback from women lol.

Edit 2: thank you to everyone (all genders!) who shared helpful perspectives and advice! I recognize that people are tired of being on apps and it’s prob worth just matching if you like their vibe.
